You can expect to share background information, discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, and we’ll go over important details like confidentiality and the therapeutic process.We engage in a collaborative discussion to identify your goals and establish a roadmap for support moving forward.
For children, the first session is all about making things interactive and comfortable. We might engage in activities to build rapport and create a safe space. Your child can express themselves through various mediums, helping me understand their unique perspective. It is important to have parents present during the initial session to facilitate a collaborative process and provide essential support for your child’s therapeutic journey.
I exclusively provide virtual therapy services and do not offer in-person sessions. The virtual setting allows for flexibility and accessibility, ensuring a convenient and effective therapeutic experience for my clients. If you have any questions about the virtual therapy process, feel free to ask.
Virtual therapy offers flexibility, allowing you to attend sessions from the comfort of your own space. It eliminates commute time, provides convenient scheduling options and ensures continuity of care. Virtual therapy for children allows parents to be more involved in the therapeutic process, fostering better support for their child’s well-being.
I do not accept insurance at this time. However, if you receive Out of Network (OON) benefits from your insurance coverage I can offer a superbill with appropriate details for you to request reimbursement from your insurance carrier if applicable.
I accept payment via credit card or HSA/FSA cards. Your card information is securely stored in your client portal. Payment is due in full at the time of service.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
You will be charged the full fee for cancelled or sessions rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice.
